 More images that reveal the ancient culture, the intense climate, and the magnificent desolation that is Mongolia.   Other posts in this series that connect with these images are Asia in the Twenty First Century #3, Asia in the Twenty First Century #4, and Asia in the Twenty First Century #5 .  Perhaps this is what Calgary will look like in 200 years  when the glaciers of the rockies are all melted and the effects of erosion have been established.
