Paul Krugman takes his End This Depression Now! lecture (and his hunt for the Confidence Fairy) to the London School of Economics.
The UK has a special role in all this because its disastrous response is uniquely unforced… The Eurozone has a deep structural problem in that it has a single currency without a single government… The United States has a deep structural problem which is that one of our two main political parties is completely insane.
They may be evil, but they are not idiots.
