The fat guys thinking they are strong; the skinny guys thinking they are buff; the hummingbirds flitting from machine to machine; the screamers lifting less weight than your mother does; the dismorphic flexing in the mirrors between sets. Different zoos in different countries, same animals.
Locker rooms suffer the same universal types as the gym floors. I wish I had written this letter in McSweeney’s, An open letter to the gentleman blow-drying his balls in the gym locker room.
