Behold: Three Photos

The space shuttle ‘Endeavour’ pierces the cloud cover during it’s final launch, with magnificent effect. Photographer Trey Ratcliff describes the launch on his website, Stuck in Customs. There you can find a terrific, free HDR photography tutorial, as well.

According to Gizmodo, the photo won the World at Night’s 2011 International Earth and Sky Photo Contest.
